Hvornår skal man bruge faldsikring?

Hvornår man skal bruge faldsikring, er et spørgsmål om holdning, vurdering af situationen og de gældende regler. Der bør altid foretages en risikovurdering inden påbegyndelse og undervejs i arbejdet.

Det er arbejdsgivers ansvar, at der under arbejdets udførelse er etableret korrekte foranstaltninger til forebyggelse af fald, samt at der er faldsikringsudstyr til rådighed. Eksempelvis opsætning af stillads, hegn, brug af lift eller personligt faldsikringsudstyr. Desuden skal der sørges for den nødvendige instruktion i brug af udstyret. Det personlige faldsikringsudstyr må anvendes til kortvarige opgaver, hvor arbejdet ikke på anden vis kan udføres forsvarligt.
